1/8 Nishiki Ropponmatsu by Yamato

Well,since i took lots of pics,I decided to write a short review for it. (yeah,i know,this fig is 2 years old already(not sure) so why write a review over something old you ask?For the simple reason coz i want to.lol) But seriously,hope reviewing old stuffs isn't against the rules or anything.lol.

Anyways,this is my very first review EVER, so go easy on me guys.If i have somethings to note on more and what about then just ask or tell me.

Here goes.

So,i bought this fig in Toycon 2008 since i saw it lying there with a price of P499!Then the guy told me that If i get it now,he'll give it to me for P450.Without a moment's hesitation,I pulled out my wallet and give hime teh money.

SUPRISINGLY,THIS FIG ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD!!!!(well,at least for me that is....)

Here it is in the box.WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?!?!It's frikkin cheap!(but original)

Though i haven't watched Excel saga yet, in my opinion,Yamato did a pretty good job with sculpting this.Face shows a very good portrayal of what a "genki"(fun-type) anime character would look like(since that was what was said according to my research on her regarding this character's personality.FYI, she seems to be a perky robotic cat-girl for that matter.)It has Blue transparent base which is really light so sometimes it can't cope up with the fig's weight and by sometimes i mean not frequently.Like once in a blue moon.(lol.pero nangyari sakin)



Body is good and very sexy especially teh legs.The costume is very sexy also,since it looks like it really fits with her cute body.Notice the ruffles on it.Most noticable on teh legs.An additional design on her legs(stockings) which can only be seen by naked eye while focusing on it, is the glittery effect it has.That was cool and somewhat girlish in a way.

The most noticable and coolest addition to this figure is the detachable gundam sort of wing or jet pack it has at the back.Really nice details was placed on this thing that it really looks like it was taken from an actual mech fig with robotic wings.


Could have gone without the cat,but meh,it's okay i guess...



Overall,I can't say I didn't like this fig since i honestly like it even without considering the price I bought it with.This is my first purchase of Yamato and I must say,I am both impressed and satisfied.

Giving this a: 7/10

nice review dwight. yeah I think this figure is pretty much worthit, especially with that price tag in mind. I remember it used to fetch at around 2k+

for that price, this figure is a steal.. and i like the cat

sigh. the first ropponmatsu would've been nice if it was released as well.
