Seems like Yamato's catering their action figures to a much more high-end fanbase.

I'd rather buy the RAH version kung mahal din lang na articulated Motoko ang paguusapan. Her joints look really bad when you take off the jacket.

Why do they have to make a beautiful toy Motoko with that price tag?!

Comparing the VMF and the RAH Motoko, you have to consider that the RAH Motoko cost twice as the VMF (¥17,980 against ¥8,190). While the size difference is a mere 30-35%.

Though the RAH IS a 1/6 scale doll and 12 inchers like her are often more expensive due to their rarity as a toy and the high quality craftsmanship of her accessories.

@Akutenhi: I do understand your concern over Motoko's joints when the jacket is removed, but the RAH also has "seen" joints when you remove her clothes. It's less offensive than what VMF Motoko has though.

Though personally I am still at odds between VMF and RAH would I get... they are both excellent figures of a character I so admire... but the price makes me think twice about it.

This is a nice Mokoto... but I'll go for the RAH... the clothing gives realism feel to it...

Pretty good!

It does look good. The butt, I mean. And the paint looks ok, if the pics are anything to go by.

Pricey, though. And I usually notice the Tachikoma first before Motoko.

But since Genesis mentioned it, yes, give us our Fran!
