Mnemosyne is a 6 episode OAV which clearly intented for a mature audience, with lots of nudity, violence and gore in, along with an awesome premise, even if it reminds me a bit of Aeon Flux. The animation quality is pretty good overall, with excellent work by Xebec.
It's also quite refreshing to see Mamiko Noto (Enma Ai) take on the role of the sexy, busty heroine Rin, as she's usually taken on soft-spoken, demure girl roles. Also of note is the band behind the OAV's OP and ED, Galneryus. They're quite possibly the only Japanese power metal band I've heard of aside from Animetal... which is awesome.
So far I've seen 2 episodes, and I guarantee you, it won't disappoint.
