Plot Summary: In this world, from ancient times, people were eaten by beings called "youma". For a long time, people lived without any means to counter them. However, a half-human, half-youma female warrior was born.... Female soldiers known as "Claymore" who, with silver eyes that can see through to the true form of "youma", and carry a large sword as a weapon, continue to battle those which people have named "youma".

Mikko originally suggested this title to me during our ToyCon meet. So far it's one of the most enjoyable anime I've seen this season. The character design is nice and clean and the animation is very good with consistent quality. The fight scenes are also nice and quite bloody with lots of mutilation (but of course!). Even though the plot may seem too cliche, the overall presentation is interesting. If you like Berserk or heart-pounding fight scenes and medieval settings/lore, this is the anime for you!

the only issue i have with this anime.. which has prevented me from watching it.. so far.. is i think the protagonists' limbs are too long... medyo na-iibahan ako

Hmm, I didn't notice that tho. Her limbs actually do elongate or spiral because of her sword fighting technique later on or when she awakens.

But you should still try watching this show. The fight choreography is great and the animation is crisp. smile.gif

After reading the Wikipedia link.
I feel like I'm being drawn to the Claymore Cult biggrin.gif

The story is very interesting and not the usual heroes vs demons story.
