My comments for Episode 1:

Lelouch is back! And, what the hell, he doesn't have any idea that he is Zero. And where is his Geass? Most of the characters from Season 1 are back, but the top leaders of the Order of the Black Knights have been arrested. Karen is now a bunny girl who can kick bottom in her bunny outfit (lol). And since when did Lelouch have a YOUNGER BROTHER!? Where is Nunnally?

Oh, did I ever tell you that Pizza Hut still supports the rebellion?

OP is addicting. V.V. has a connection to the Emperor. Viletta and Ougi pairing is being hinted. Same goes for Karen and Suzaku. Yaoi between Gino and Suzaku FTW!!!

Seriously, I'm rooting for Shuzaku. I liked his character a lot back in episode one. He came from the bottom and rose up to where he is right now, even if he's just an Eleven. He's got great piloting skills, but he sometimes doesn' follow orders if he thinks it's wrong. He even tried saving some civilians during the heat of battle. He thinks that by doing this, he can help change the way Britannia treats Japan, instead of resorting to war and rebellion. He was also able to influence powerful Britannians such as Euphemia, whose death I think changed him in R2.

Hope someome appears to help pull him back from the darkness that he's sinking into.

i like his tactical forecasting, strategies and manipulating people around.

however if there's one thing he cant anticipate it's suzaku's skill that unpredictably disrupts his plans all the time.

I'm rooting for Lelouch as well.

Despite the fact that he's the anti-hero, and that he had manipulated people around him to get what he wanted, he was man enough to admit it and to take responsibilities for his actions. Suzaku, for me, was the betrayer. Him being an Honorary Britannian was alright for me, but being a Knight of the Round and abandoning Japan was just too much. 'sides, what will he get from avenging Euphemia? Nothing. She's dead. His revenge won't bring her back anyway.

It was the actions of Lelouch that changed Shuzaku. Lelouch kills quite callously. Goes to show what sort of person he is: if you stand in his way, you're as good as dead. As they say, power corrupts, and this is what happened when Lelouch got his geass.

Makes me wonder, say lets turn the tables, what if Shuzaku got the geass instead of Lelouch? And Shuzaku follows his method of change, by doing it peacefully and from within? Hmmm... I guess the story would then be boring.

from a person who stabbed his father for the sake of peace? i doubt it.

And from a person who kills on a whim? Of course.

Hmmm...

Debate, debate.

I find some fault in Lelouch that he kills people on a whim (of course, it IS a rebellion. Such a thing cannot be helped.), but Suzaku's fault was that he resigned to his fate when Britannia invaded Japan and he killed his father (Errr, committing patricide is just too much for me.) just so Japan would 'surrender'. ;

The final blow for me is that Suzaku just had to abandon his homeland to be a Knight. Errr, why the heck does he need to do that? 'sides, if he goes against the Emperor... death will await him.

Lelouch for me. For the simple reason that he is wearing dark outfits, which is more friendly with my eyes. Shuzaku's image screams "futanari" imho.

I do think that Lelouch is a realist while Suzaku is an idealist.

I didn't like Suzaku then, and starting to hate him even more now after seeing him with the Emperor. He's a hypocrite, preaching about end not justifying the means when he killed his own father after failing to convince him to surrender And if indeed he's trying to change the government from within, he's doing a good job sucking up to the emperor. Too bad all his brown nosing isn't doing the Elevens any good as shown on 2nd season's first episode.

At least Lelouch is honest about himself being evil.

I'm rooting for Lelouch since ep 1 because he's good and evil at the same time, pero he admits it. Si Suzaku kasi parang hypocrite ang dating sakin. Both characters naman have very ironic traits, di ko lang gusto ang goody-goody na dating ni Suzaku. Prang sa death note, I always rooted for Light even though I know L or some other guy will get him busted.

Update 4/16/2008: According to an announcement on the official site, the leak occurred when someone at Bandai Channel accidentally uploaded it while in the process of implementing a system to prevent unauthorized postings. The production committee apologizes for this, and episode three will air as scheduled this Sunday. While this all still strikes me as sounding a little suspicious, I’m happy that things got worked out and that there won’t be any delays, and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the episode.

As much as I hate her for getting in the way of my Lelouch x C.C., I feel bad because she did NOT deserve getting killed by a jealous psychotic brother. and the ending was touching. Since my bro recommended me this Anime to watch. bumili ako ng DVD ng Code Geass season 1 sa Comic alley and it is worth watching. although I'm not a mecha fan nagustuhan ko cya since kakaiba ang story nya. Ep10 na ako.

I just watching this anime this year and manage to watch all the episode. What I like of about this anime is the turn & twist of events.

Also on a Geass episode (Black Rebellion?), Lelouch wasn't termed as the 17th successor to the throne but the "supposedly 17th Emperor". (His father, Charles is the 16th on the a.t.b time line.)that is iirc and translation wasn't wrong
